The No-Looting Policy.

We built Chor Bazaar because we hate looters. The last thing we'd do is become one. Here's exactly what we see, what we don't, and why — written in plain English, not lawyer-speak.

This isn't a legal document, it's a promise. We're thieves, but we're not monsters. We steal from the overpriced, not from you.

⚑ The One Rule That Matters

We Can't See Your Data.
Even If We Wanted To.

We do not collect, see, store, or touch your personal data or your brokerage API keys. Ever. In fact — we can't. It's impossible. We made it that way.

// architecturally impossible — not a promise, a property.
The Nitty-Gritty · For the Lawyers in the Back 04 Clauses

The full mechanics of what touches our servers and what absolutely doesn't. Short version: almost nothing touches our servers. Long version below.

01

What We Don't See.

BLIND
  • Your API Keys —They are entered into and stored locally on your machine. They are encrypted by your broker and nobody apart from you has any access to them.
  • Your Trading Data —Your portfolio, order history, and account details are fetched by the tool directly from your broker's API and stays on your own machine.
  • Your Personal Info —We don't need it. We don't want it.
02

What We Do See.

MINIMAL

Our payment processor provides us with your email address and the name of the product you bought. That's it. We use this to:

  • Send you your download link.
  • Send you critical updates if a broker API change breaks a tool.
  • Not spam you with marketing garbage.
03

The Tools Themselves.

LOCAL-ONLY

The software tools are downloaded and run locally on your computer. They are not "phoning home" with your data. They communicate directly with your broker's API — and that's it. No telemetry. No analytics pings. No hidden background syncs.

04

Questions? Audit Us.

OPEN-SRC

If you have any questions about this promise, we're happy to explain. You can check our GitHub and audit the code yourself. We are big fans of Open-Source — the best privacy policy is code you can read.

Still have questions?

Write to us. We answer every email that isn't marketing spam — which is most of them, because we don't attract that kind of crowd.
